A Few Photos from the Stella Creek Album

Stella creek Cherry Orchard sign cherry orchard netting
The sign at our front entrance welcoming you to Stella Creek. Look for this sign as you drive up Plummers Road.
Our permanent netting, which keeps the birds (and various other creatures) away from the cherries all year round.

By early November, the flowers have developed into ripe red cherries.  White flesh cherries (variety = Vega) have a unique taste and appearance. As Kath and Kim would say "They're noice. They're different!"

Picking cherries under the permanent netting is easy - and even when it is 38c,
it is much cooler in the Orchard.
Some of the other beautiful flowers in the gardens at Stella Creek. These native irises line the driveway.
cherry packing
Boxing cherries after they have been sorted and graded on our packing line. Cherry dogs enjoying the shade of the trees on a very hot day.
 cherry dam
The best way to eat cherries after a long day of picking: on a cheese platter with a lovely bottle of Sieber Road Shiraz!
Followed by a relaxing paddle in the Stella Creek "big" dam.

You will probably meet one or both of them
on your next visit to Stella Creek.
